据《哈尔滨考》中的地方志记载，女真族语言“阿勒金（Alejin）”译为“哈尔滨”，意为“荣誉、名誉、声望”。据说在哈尔滨的中央大街，还有一家小店叫“阿勒金”，就是根据这个传说而得名的。
